Headed (in English): 'The Georgian Marseillaise'. followed by a note, in English, by M. Wardrop: 'Copied from 'Sroma', no. 37, 22 September 1882, published in Kutais. After the publication of this poem the censure of the paper was transferred to Tiflis...The peasantry sing the above song to a certain tune; it was, of course, not written in XVIII c.'
